Avy-Cat Level 1 Application

Thank your for your interest in the C.A.R.C.A. Avy-Cat Level 1 course.  Avalanche cats are quickly becoming an integral and essential part of Avalanche Search and Rescue teams around the world.  After receiving your application, the Canadian Avalanche Rescue Cat Association Director of Feline Recruitment and Development will review you and your cat’s suitability for our extensive and rigourous program. Please complete and submit the information below along with any photos that you may feel best highlight your felines attributes.  Thank you for your interest in our program.  It is only through our dedicated network of volunteer cat and handler teams that C.A.R.C.A. can continue to advance the field of avalanche rescue and increase the safety of all those who enjoy the winter outdoors.
